Water Damage Restoration Tech

Description:

The Water Damage Restoration Technician course is designed to give you a better concept of water damage, how it affects the materials, and environment and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give technicians the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold. We will discuss federally regulated hazards like lead paint and asbestos. We will use a white board to help better break down some difficult principles. You will see various samples of building materials and multiple different models of moisture meters.
